Ophthalmological practice of Dr. med. Rahel Lorenzi and
Dr. Florian Weisskopf

Doctor Rahel Lorenzi took over the ophthalmological practice from Dr. Wacker-Hofmann in 2016. In March 2022, the practice was moved to our newly renovated location in the Coop Binningen building on Hauptstrasse 90, 4102 Binningen. Doctor Florian Weisskopf started the coworking in January 2024.

Patients of all ages are welcome. It is important for us to receive patients in a pleasant atmosphere where we can discuss your visual problems during an in-depth conversation. This process includes:

1. An interview including a discussion of your medical history.

2. An in-depth initial eye examination.

3. An additional examination with state-of-the-art equipment if required.

4. A discussion and information about possible visual disorders.

5. Treatment according to the latest scientifically supported methods.

 

The practice in Binningen is easily accessible by public transportation and by car. It is also important to mention that we are wheelchair accessible. The ophthalmological practice is reached via the entrance on Hauptstrasse 90. We are on the third floor, which is reached via the external staircase or via the lift next to the Coop entrance. There is a second lift inside the building that goes to the third floor. We are reachable by public transportation with stops at Hohlegasse, Kronen Platz or Binningen Oberdorf. Parking spaces are available in Coop Parking, with 1 hour of free parking. Additional parking spaces are on Hauptstrasse or the nearby car parks of Migros and Schloss Binningen.
